Warning from Iran: What Awaits Israel
The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran, Hossein Salami, has warned of further retaliatory measures against Israel if it attacks Iranian facilities, which Israel has promised to do following the Iranian missile attack on October 1. This was reported by Al Arabiya, citing AFP.
“If you make a mistake and attack our targets—whether in the region or in Iran—we will strike you again with painful blows,” Salami stated last month during the funeral of a general of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps alongside Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
Abbas Nilforoushan, the senior commander of the IRGC's Quds Force, was killed on September 27 during an Israeli strike in southern Beirut along with Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
Salami called the THAAD missile defense system “unreliable,” which, according to the Pentagon, has been sent to Israel along with about 100 American soldiers. “Do not trust these systems. You cannot destroy Muslim nations and remain safe. We know your weak points,” the Iranian senior military official stated.
