“Air temperature will gradually drop by 6-9 degrees from October 17-19,” the announcement states. Due to the penetration of an active cyclone from the west, heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected in most regions of the republic on the night of October 17-18.

Due to the heavy precipitation, a significant increase in water levels in most of the republic's rivers is anticipated on October 17-18. Heavy rains are also expected in Yerevan today, with daytime air temperatures ranging from 15-17 degrees Celsius, and nighttime temperatures between 9-11 degrees.
