VIDEO: There Can Be No Return to the Institution of Framing Cases, Says Pashinyan
In Armenia, the institution of framing cases has essentially been eliminated and there can be no return to it. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his speech dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Investigative Committee on October 11.
“Moreover, I say this not only to express the political will of the government and the parliamentary majority, but also to recognize the people leading the judicial system,” Pashinyan noted.
According to the Prime Minister, there are no privileged individuals in Armenia, whether they are former or current officials. “We have created all the important prerequisites and conditions necessary for institutional establishment, and I now say—this is not only the sentiment of the government and parliamentary majority but also of citizens—that there is justice and fairness in Armenia. There are no privileged individuals, whether past or present, and the laws, legality, rule of law, fairness, and justice are not just words mentioned in speeches; they are realities and facts,” he emphasized.
