Zakharova on Upcoming Meeting in 3+3 Format
The "3+3" advisory regional platform serves as an effective mechanism for coordinating the efforts of regional representatives to achieve peace and stability in the South Caucasus and the Middle East. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a press briefing.
She reminded that on October 17-18, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will visit Istanbul to participate in a meeting in this format, which includes Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, as well as Iran, Russia, and Turkey.
"This format also provides opportunities for advancing mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, economic, transportation-logistics, and cultural-humanitarian sectors," Zakharova added.
