The mass theft of WhatsApp accounts in Armenia continues. This was reported by information security expert Samvel Martirosyan on his Facebook page.

“Unknown hackers continue to break into Armenian WhatsApp accounts en masse. I assume they will soon move on to Telegram as well. How they hack is still unclear. The problem is that they are seemingly obtaining the recovery codes from people, in such a way that the individual does not receive the message, but it reaches someone else. This is possible through a unique form of hacking attack,” he stated.
