New Realities Emerge in the Region After the 44-Day War, Says Kurtulmush
The opening of the Zangezur corridor will create significant opportunities for the Turkic world. This statement was made by the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, Numan Kurtulmush, during a meeting with an Azerbaijani delegation.
"New realities have emerged in the region after the 44-day war. In this context, the large-scale construction works being carried out in Nagorno-Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur, as well as the opening of the Zangezur corridor, will create significant opportunities for the Turkic world and Turkic-speaking countries," Kurtulmush said during his meeting with Azerbaijani counterpart Sahiba Gafarova.
The Speaker of Azerbaijan's National Assembly also noted that the two fraternal countries present a united front on all issues, including mutual support in international organizations. During the conversation, it was mentioned that the two countries supposedly stand for "peace and cooperation in the region."
