According to him, the transition to a unified ticketing system will almost eliminate the phenomenon of shadow transactions, as cash transactions will be phased out entirely.

"The unified ticketing system is not only important for the Yerevan City Hall in terms of eliminating shadow revenue and various other perspectives, but also from the standpoint of human convenience. The unified ticketing system allows people to use various means of transportation with the same card and phone without having to pay extra. This is the most crucial principle embedded in the unified ticketing system," he stated.
