Incident Report: Plane Crash in Russia Results in One Fatality and Injured

An AN-3 aircraft made an emergency landing in Yakutia, resulting in one of the five passengers onboard losing their life, prompting a criminal investigation.

The AN-3, which was operating the Olekminsk-Zheleznogorsk-Ilimsk route, performed a hard landing near Olekminsk in Yakutia. The aircraft was carrying three crew members and two passengers.

The preliminary cause of the emergency landing has been identified as a technical issue.
