VIDEO: Attack with 10 Drones on a Russian Oil Depot
The government of the Luhansk People's Republic has reported an attack on an oil depot in the city of Rovenki involving ten drones. A fire broke out in one of the fuel tanks at the depot. The fire has now been extinguished.
According to the government statement, air defense forces shot down 8 out of the 10 drones aimed at the oil depot, while the other two reached their target. The attack occurred on the night of October 12.
The regional Ministry of Emergency Situations has released footage of the fire that broke out at the attack site. The footage shows that at least one fuel tank was burned. By the morning, the fire was extinguished. A total of 28 firefighters and 5 units of equipment were involved in extinguishing the blaze.
The Ministry of Energy of the LPR stated that the fire at the oil depot did not affect the fuel supply situation in the Republic, and supplies are being carried out without interruptions; all gas stations in Rovenki are operating normally. The fuel reserves in the LPR correspond to the planned levels.
