US President Joe Biden's Demand to Israel

The presidents of the United States and France, along with the Prime Minister of Italy, have condemned Israel's attack on peacekeepers.

US President Joe Biden has demanded that Israel cease its attacks on UN peacekeepers in Lebanon. In a phone conversation with his Israeli counterpart Yoav Galant, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin emphasized the necessity of ensuring the safety of members of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

It should be noted that two soldiers from the UNIFIL contingent were wounded during shelling in the central deployment area of the peacekeepers.
