Traffic Through the Bosphorus Strait Halted

Traffic through the Bosphorus Strait has been temporarily halted due to the engine failure of the Panamanian-flagged cargo ship B Line. This has been reported by Turkey's General Directorate of Coastal Safety.

It is noted that the ship was en route from Israel to Bulgaria.

Traffic in both directions through the Bosphorus Strait has been suspended. It is expected that navigation through the strait will resume in the near future.
