Sargis Qarakeheshishyan and Family Members Summoned by Prosecutor's Office
Former mayor of Stepanavan, Sargis Qarakeheshishyan, along with his family members, has been summoned to the Republic of Armenia Prosecutor's Office on October 15 at 14:30 to discuss the confiscation of illegally acquired property.
This information was disclosed on the official announcements platform 'Azdarar'. The notification from the prosecutor's office states, 'An investigation is being conducted regarding the property belonging to you within the framework of the confiscation of illegally acquired property.' A summary has been compiled based on the findings.
Also summoned to the Prosecutor's Office are Qarakeheshishyan's wife, Anahit Mkrtchyan, and their children, Rima, David, and Arman Qarakeheshishyan, along with their daughter-in-law, Kristine Meliksetyan.
They have the right to appear at the Prosecutor’s Office within one month from the date of receiving the notification to review the case materials, present their position, and submit a declaration.
Sargis Qarakeheshishyan and his sons face charges alleging that the former mayor sold various parcels of land from areas within Stepanavan that cannot be transferred to citizens and legal entities, as well as real estate properties that were transferred to the community.
