Statues of Stalin and Ivan the Terrible to Be Erected in Russia

In the city of Vologda, Russia, statues of Joseph Stalin and Ivan the Terrible are set to be erected, according to local media reports.

Georgy Filimonov, the regional leader, noted that the community has requested the installation of a monument dedicated to Joseph Vissarionovich. The statue will be placed within the grounds of the Vologda exile house-museum, where Stalin lived from December 1911 to February 1912.

A statue of Ivan the Terrible will also be erected in the city. Filimonov showcased the bronze model of the future statue.
