Yesterday, the outdoor ceremony of the anointment of the holy myrrh took place prior to the re-consecration of the cathedral. In recent days, the most discussed topic has been whether representatives of the government would participate in the events at the Mother See. Yesterday, some government members attended the myrrh anointment ceremony, including the two vice presidents of the National Assembly, Ruben Rubinyan and Hakob Arshakyan, and legislators from the ruling faction, Andranik Kocharyan and Vladimir Vardanyan.
