VIDEO: Pashinyan Explains Why the Peace Agreement Text is Not Published
There is a diplomatic correctness issue regarding the publication of the 13 already agreed upon points of the peace agreement. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a question-and-answer session with the government in the National Assembly of Armenia.
He was responding to a question from Arthur Khachatryan, a member of the 'Armenia' faction, who inquired whether it would be correct to present the content of the already agreed points before discussing the signing of the peace agreement.
“I have addressed those points on various occasions; there is no problem of secrecy, it’s a matter of diplomatic correctness. The working document also has a secondary stakeholder,” Pashinyan announced.
According to him, in conceptual terms, the content of the agreement has been disclosed during regional meetings and discussions with the public.
Arzvik Minasyan, the secretary of the 'Armenia' faction, stated that they are preparing to file a lawsuit to clarify why opposition lawmakers are prohibited from accessing the text of the peace agreement.
