Lawyer and Police Officers Killed in Vilnius

A man opened fire on police officers in Vilnius and barricaded himself in his apartment. Two police officers were injured and hospitalized.

After the incident, the shooter was arrested, and the body of lawyer Leonid Pchelintsev was found in his apartment. The deceased was supposed to be evicted from the apartment along with a collector by a court order against the shooter.

This marks the first case of a lawyer's death in Lithuania while performing official duties.
