Israel Launches Targeted Strike on Beirut
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have conducted a targeted strike on the Dahiah district of Lebanon's capital, Beirut. This information was reported by the IDF's press service.
“The IDF carried out a precision strike on the Dahiah area, targeting a key stronghold of 'Hezbollah' terrorists,” the statement said. The press service promised to provide further details later.
Since October 1, Israel has been conducting a ground operation against 'Hezbollah' forces in southern Lebanon and continues airstrikes in the neighboring country, where more than a thousand people have already died, including leaders of the Shiite movement. More than 346,000 people have become refugees. Despite the losses, including among its command ranks, 'Hezbollah' is engaged in ground battles and continues to launch rockets into Israeli territory.
