Iran Warns of Consequences if Israel Makes a 'Wrong Move'

Iran will target Israel's energy infrastructure if the latter launches an attack on the Islamic Republic. This was stated by the deputy commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Admiral Ali Fadavi, according to Mehr news agency.

“If the occupiers make a mistake, we will strike all their energy sources, power plants, all oil refineries, and gas fields,” he said.

Fadavi noted that Israel is a small country with only three major power plants and a few oil refineries, so a coordinated strike could effectively target them simultaneously.

On the evening of October 1, Iran launched a massive missile strike on Israel. Tehran described the attack as a response to the deaths of the Lebanese Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and IRGC Major General Abbas Nilforushan during a strike by the IDF on the outskirts of Beirut on September 27.

The IRGC reported that the targets of the attack were exclusively military infrastructure. Preliminary data indicates that approximately 200 missiles were fired. Iranian media have reported that dozens of F-35 fighters were destroyed, a claim that Israel has not commented on.
