Deputy Foreign Minister on Concerns Raised by Baku
This process is transparent, and we constantly inform about the developments; press releases are issued regarding all meetings, and both the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister regularly update on the content.
This was stated today by Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan during a conversation with journalists, assuring that the content of the peace agreement is not hidden from the public.
He noted that the points already agreed upon are, in Armenia's view, at least sufficient to establish diplomatic relations between the two countries and continue discussions on the remaining issues.
When asked why Azerbaijan does not accept this version proposed by Armenia, the Deputy Foreign Minister emphasized that the constitution and constitutional amendments are internal processes for us.
“The concerns raised by official Baku have already been addressed; during the phase of establishing demarcation rules, the Constitutional Court has issued clarifications showing that the concerns raised by Baku have no correlation with reality,” said Kostanyan.
