Israeli Army Announces Heavy Fighting in Southern Lebanon

The Israeli Defense Forces have reported severe fighting in southern Lebanon and urged residents in the area to avoid traveling to regions south of the Litani River. This warning was issued by a spokesperson for the IDF.

The representative addressed the residents of southern Lebanon with an urgent alert, stating that brutal battles are occurring in the area, during which elements of Hezbollah are using the civilian environment, exploiting citizens as human shields during their attacks.

"For your personal safety, please refrain from moving by vehicles in areas south of the Litani River," he wrote.
