Flights in Iran Remain Suspended

All flights in Iran have been canceled until the morning of October 3 due to the tense situation in the Middle East. This was reported by Jafar Yazarlu, a representative of the Civil Aviation Organization, as quoted by RIA Novosti.

“To ensure the safety of flights, all flights within the country are canceled until tomorrow morning at 5 a.m.,” Tasnim agency cites his statement.

Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that Iran had fired nearly 180 missiles towards Israel, many of which were intercepted. Social media has seen the emergence of videos showing the missiles falling in various regions of the country. The attack has resulted in one fatality, an undocumented immigrant from the Gaza Strip. Several others have sustained minor shrapnel injuries on their way to a shelter.
