Until When Can One Apply for Deferral from Military Draft

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports informs that the deadline for submitting documents to receive a deferral from conscription for mandatory military service in the fields of education, culture, and sports is October 31, 2024, inclusive.

In accordance with the requirements of the RA Government decisions No. 450-N, No. 451-N, and No. 457-N dated April 12, 2018, citizens with significant achievements in the fields of science and education, culture, and sports can apply to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports for a deferral from conscription from October 1 to October 31, 2024, inclusive.

The application (according to the provided form) and copies of the necessary documents as per the requirements of the aforementioned government decisions must be submitted by the citizen or their representative (in case of a representative, a power of attorney must also be provided) to the documents management division of the Ministry or electronically via email at [email protected].
