The Clock Photo on Public Radio's Wall Was a Manipulation: Details

Yesterday, the appearance of clocks showing the time in Baku and Ankara at Public Radio caused quite a stir in society. Alisa Gevorgyan, an employee of Public Radio, made the announcement and shared a photo where it was evident that the new clocks displayed the times for Yerevan, Baku, Tbilisi, Ankara, and Moscow. Naturally, this raised a logical question as to why cities like Tehran and other capitals were not included.

This incident led to significant uproar, and today, our radio listener from Radio Aurora sent us the complete version of the photo, which includes clocks showing the time for Tehran, Brussels, London, Washington, New York, and Los Angeles, among others.

From all this, we can conclude that what happened was simply a manipulation that many of us, unfortunately, fell for. However, it is worth noting that the newly appointed director of Public Radio did not provide a comprehensive clarification on the subject throughout the day, neither in discussions with the media nor through any other means, thus failing to present the real picture of the situation.
