Warning: Money Being Demanded in the Name of the Police

Social media platforms are circulating advertisements in the name of the Police, where unknown individuals are demanding money purportedly to expedite the investigation of a crime.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs Police informs: “We announce that this is false information. We urge you to ignore suspicious links and refrain from entering personal data on unknown sites or pages. If you have already fallen victim to this deception, please report to the Police immediately. Any information in the name of the Police should be followed exclusively through official channels.”
