Debris from Missiles Fired at Israel Falls in Jordan, Injuries Reported
On October 1, debris from missiles fired by Iran towards Israel landed in Jordan, injuring three individuals, according to the country’s communications minister and government spokesman, Mohammed al-Momani. This was reported by kommersant.ru.
“Some parts of the missiles fell in various regions of Jordan. There are no fatalities, but three people are injured. Their injuries are minor,” the minister stated.
He also noted that there are material damages, but authorities have not yet been able to assess the extent of the losses.
Commenting on Iran’s missile attack on Israel, Mohammed al-Momani emphasized that Jordan “will never become a battleground for any of the parties involved.” He stressed that the primary responsibility of the authorities is to protect Jordan and its citizens.
On the evening of October 1, Iran launched a missile attack on Israel, firing a total of more than 180 missiles into Israeli territory.
