Video: "What Are You Bragging About?" Alen Simonyan to Opposition MP
Mr. Simonyan, if you hadn't interrupted me, I would have finished my speech; I wouldn't have come to speak. This was stated today, October 1, by Tehvos Avetisyan, a member of the 'Armenia' faction, addressing the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan.
"Now you will have neither occasion nor opportunity to interrupt me; I will express my thoughts within the framework of the regulations provided. Those who do not like it can choose not to listen," he said.
Alen Simonyan interrupted: "Mr. Avetisyan, hold on a minute, what are you bragging about? I want to understand. So listen, when you speak, you have a set time limit. I merely asked you to stay within that time limit. Please do not say that you can do anything you want or cannot do anything at all."
"I am not bragging; I am defending my rights," replied the opposition MP, reminding him that he has 10 minutes for his speech.
"We will give you an extra minute," said the Speaker of the National Assembly.
