This Week, an Annular Solar Eclipse Will Occur
This week, an annular solar eclipse is expected, resulting in the phenomenon known as the "ring of fire," reports apnews.com.
However, this remarkable sight will only be visible to a select few. The annular solar eclipse can be observed on October 2 by residents of Easter Island, southern Argentina, and Chile.
Meanwhile, residents of Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, and the Hawaiian Islands will experience a partial solar eclipse.
Solar eclipses occur two to five times a year. In April, a total solar eclipse was visible to residents in parts of Mexico, Canada, and the United States.
