Azerbaijan's Aliyev: We Will See the Same Picture During the Return to 'Western Azerbaijan'

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has stated that Azerbaijanis will 'return' to what he refers to as 'Western Azerbaijan'. He remarked, 'The people of Nagorno-Karabakh, who have never lived on those lands but have longed to return (referring to Azerbaijanis who left the liberated territories in the 1990s), are now coming back to Nagorno-Karabakh. I am confident that we will see the same picture during the return to 'Western Azerbaijan'.'

Official Baku refers to the territory of Armenia when mentioning 'Western Azerbaijan'.
