The Kapan Mayor Gevorg Parsyan expressed that changes are necessary in the political course of the Armenian authorities during a conversation with journalists. He arrived at the Mother Cathedral to participate in the ceremony of the Myuronorhnk.

During the impromptu interview, he stated that the current authorities are responsible for the loss of Artsakh. "I believe that the loss of Artsakh is related to today’s authorities," said Parsyan, identifying the mistakes made in 2020 as fundamental to this situation.

"Ultimately, we must acknowledge the fact that Artsakh was depopulated in 2023 under the current administration," noted the Kapan Mayor.

Regarding the security issues in Syunik, he assessed the situation in Verin Hand, which is surrounded by Azerbaijanis from three sides, as quite serious.
