Video: Father Esayi on Inviting Officials
The Armenian Apostolic Church has invited state officials to the consecration of the Holy Muron, which is unrelated to the demand for the resignation of the Prime Minister of Armenia. This was stated by Father Esayi Kh, Director of the Information Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, during a conversation with journalists.
It is important to note that the day of the consecration of the Holy Muron is September 28, while the re-consecration, the blessing of the Holy Table and the Divine Liturgy will take place on September 29. On September 27, the opening of the Mother Cathedral's Navakatik took place, and the church's columns were also consecrated.
When asked whether the Church is extending a hand of reconciliation to the Armenian authorities, Father Esayi emphasized that the Church has always been one of the most important guarantees for the strengthening of statehood. “The Church has always advocated for peace and is a provider of peace. Inviting state officials is in no way connected to the demand for resignation,” noted Father Esayi.
It should be noted that among those coming to take part in the consecration of the Holy Muron at the Mother See are Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan, MP Andranik Kocharyan from the ruling party, MP Levon Kocharyan from the
