I Am Very Concerned and Worried: Lukashenko
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed his fears of becoming a victim of artificial intelligence. "I fear that this artificial intelligence might lead us to become its captives," he stated, as quoted by the state news agency BELTA.
Lukashenko considers it disastrous if, at some point, as a result of technological advancements, humanity finds itself without work. "That deeply concerns and worries me," remarked the Belarusian leader.
He emphasized that in past years, people were at the center of all processes, and this cannot be lost. "But I understand that without this (modern technologies - ed.), it is impossible. We must master it; we need to embrace it," Lukashenko declared, adding that he does not rely on artificial intelligence when analyzing information and making decisions.
