VIDEO: I Don’t Think I Deserve the Honor of Receiving a Gift from Erdoğan, Says Hovik Aghazaryan

During the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. During the meeting, Erdoğan gifted Pashinyan his book titled 'A Fairer World is Possible,' and photos circulated on the internet showing Pashinyan smiling widely with the book pressed to his chest.

In an interview with ArmLur.am, Hovik Aghazaryan, a member of the Armenian parliament from the ruling Civil Contract faction, described Erdoğan as a strong leader. When asked if he would accept a gift from Erdoğan, Aghazaryan stated, 'I do not think that I would deserve the honor of receiving a gift from Erdoğan.'
