Papoyan on the Process Against Mikayel Minasyan's Brother: I Learned from the Press

The Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, stated that he learned from the press about the initiative to gather signatures for the dismissal of Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan. Papoyan made this announcement during a conversation with reporters after a government meeting.

Recently, some MPs from the ruling Civil Contract party have begun a signature collection to submit a motion to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for Minasyan's dismissal. The reason cited also includes the fact that Minasyan is the brother of Mikayel Minasyan, the son-in-law of Armenia's third president, Serge Sargsyan.

Nevertheless, Papoyan has assessed Grigor Minasyan’s work positively, stating, "I rate his work well. I have no complaints. In the Civil Contract party, there is freedom of speech and opinion in terms of values. People can be satisfied or dissatisfied with me as well."
