Why the Trump-Zelensky Meeting Did Not Happen

Despite the wish for a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for the U.S. presidency, the meeting did not take place. According to statements from associates of the former American leader, the desire for a meeting was mutual; however, no specific dates were set for the potential event during Zelensky's visit to the U.S., as reported by Reuters.
