The QP Office: A Headache for Citizens
The newspaper "Past" reports that when it became known some time ago that the Central Office of the QP (Civil Contract party) could be moved from the corner of Sayat Nova and Charents streets, local residents and employees of various organizations near the QP office were quite excited, thinking, "Finally, our heads will rest!"
The issue arises whenever Nikol Pashinyan visits the office. This has been happening quite frequently lately, transforming the area around the office into a "state of emergency zone." First, traffic is paralyzed, then numerous security personnel surround the area, keeping a vigilant watch over everything happening around. During this time, parking is out of the question in the nearby "red zones," and people express their dissatisfaction, noting that it’s enough to pass through the area even twice while Pashinyan is in the office to come under the scrutiny of his security detail. This often leads to absurd questions such as, "What are you doing here?" or "Why are you using this sidewalk?"
According to our sources, the excitement among local residents and employees regarding the QP office's potential relocation was short-lived. They have received information that the move has been postponed for now.
