Former MP Vahe Hakobyan's Brother Detained

According to information from "Pastingfo", Karen Hakobyan, director of the "Pure Iron" factory, and the former deputy director of ZPMC, Narek Ambaryan, have been detained.

Recall that on September 20, Karen Hakobyan, who is the brother of Vahe Hakobyan, the president of the "Renaissance Armenia" party, was arrested under the status of a suspect within the framework of a criminal case being investigated by the RA Investigative Committee's Main Department for Economic Crimes and Smuggling.

Narek Ambaryan was also arrested in this case. The anti-corruption court confirmed the information in a conversation with "Pastingfo". Karen Hakobyan has been remanded in custody for two months, while Narek Ambaryan has been placed in custody for one month.
