Heavy snow has fallen in the Republic of South Africa, paralyzing traffic on the roads between Johannesburg and Durban. This was reported by France 24.

“It is snowing in South Africa. Snowfall has been observed in several provinces,” the publication states, citing South African sources.

In some areas, the snow cover has reached two meters. According to journalists, emergency services are working on highways under severe weather conditions. Truck drivers have been blocked for more than 13 hours, and blankets and food are being delivered to them.
