The announcement regarding the closure of Comedy Club was a joke on the eve of the show's new 20th season premiere. This was reported by ‘Фонтанка’.

The publication drew attention to the episode of the television program that aired on TNT on the evening of September 20. Garik Kharlamov, the comedian and creative producer of the Comedy Club show, repeated the closure announcement, after which his colleague Pavel Volya said, “Goodbye, Comedy Club. And hello, the new 20th season of Comedy Club.”

It is worth noting that on September 19, Kharlamov announced the closure of the project after 19 years of operation.
