The Answer is Dispersive: Levon Kocharyan to Nikol Pashinyan
During the question-and-answer session with the government in the National Assembly, Levon Kocharyan, a member of the "Armenia" faction, recalled that six years ago on this day, the recordings of conversations between Pashinyan, then-Director of the National Security Service Arthur Vanetsyan, and Head of the Special Investigative Service Sasun Khachatryan were published online. These conversations pertained to how individuals are taken into custody, what judges should do, and what instructions they receive.
“These recordings were the most vivid evidence of how false many of the current authorities' promises have been regarding the bastion of democracy and the claim that there are no calls made to judges. My question is: is everything still being done in the same way now, or has some scheme changed?” Kocharyan inquired.
“I believe that today we still do not have a fully independent judicial system in Armenia. You and your faction, as well as many others, still use your former levers to influence the judicial system,” Pashinyan declared.
