CNN Survey Declares Winner of Trump-Harris Debate
A recent CNN survey indicates that the Democratic Party emerged victorious in the presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. This view is held by 63% of respondents, according to CNN.
Meanwhile, 37% of Americans believe that Trump, Harris' opponent, won the debate. Registered voters who followed the debate on September 10 reported that the Vice President performed better, according to a survey conducted by SSRS on behalf of CNN.
Prior to the debate, these same voters were evenly split on which candidate would perform better, with 50% favoring Harris and 50% favoring Trump.
The CNN survey was conducted via text messaging with 605 registered voters in the U.S. who indicated they watched the debate, and the results reflect only the opinions of those who viewed the debate. They do not represent the views of the general public.
Respondents were recruited prior to the debate and selected through interviews with members of the SSRS Opinion Panel, which was gathered using probability sampling methods.
