Iran Blames the West for Concealing Illegal Weapon Supplies to Israel

The spokesperson for Iran's Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanaani, has stated that reports regarding the transfer of Iranian arms to Russia and several other countries are false. He believes these claims are an attempt to conceal illegal weapon supplies to Israel by the West, as he announced on his page on X. On September 2, Bloomberg reported, citing its sources, that Tehran is set to transfer ballistic missiles to Moscow in the near future. According to the source, Russia was allegedly preparing to use these missiles in military operations in Ukraine.

Commenting on the situation, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov emphasized that such information “does not always correspond to reality.” Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry recalled Iran's Chargé d'Affaires, Shahryar Amoozegar, against this backdrop of news. Previously, it had been revealed that Western countries intend to punish Iran for allegedly supplying missiles to Russia.
