Court Imposes House Arrest on Armen Ashotyan
The court has decided to release the vice president of the Republican Party of Armenia and political prisoner Armen Ashotyan from prison, but has imposed a house arrest decision.
The court also prohibited Armen Ashotyan from contacting anyone except close relatives. Vahe Dolmazyan also set a bail of 25 million drams against him.
It should be noted that political prisoner Armen Ashotyan has spent one year and five months in custody.
Recall that according to the Investigative Committee, former Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan is accused of abuse of official position and money laundering, which have caused severe consequences.
