Nikol Pashinyan Invites French Prime Minister to Armenia

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has invited the newly appointed French Prime Minister, Michel Barnier, to Armenia, according to reports from the government. Pashinyan congratulated Barnier on his appointment as the Prime Minister of the French Republic and expressed a willingness to expand Armenia-France relations and implement new ambitious projects through joint efforts.

"We greatly value France's consistent efforts in establishing security and a just and lasting peace in the region. I eagerly look forward to your official visit to Armenia in the near future, which will be an excellent opportunity to discuss the expansion of the evolving cooperation between Armenia and France and to outline new projects,” said Pashinyan.

A delegation headed by Gilbert-Luc Devinaz, the leader of the Armenia-France friendship group in the French Senate, will be visiting Armenia from September 9 to 15.
