A promotional video has gained widespread attention on social media today, directly advocating for gambling. In the video, a father is asked by his son, 'Dad, how did we get rich?' The father responds, 'Thanks to my harsh and hard work, my son, because I never gave up.'

In this manner, the protagonist of the low-quality and subpar video proudly boasts to his teenage son that it is possible to get rich by visiting a casino and acquiring expensive cars. The advertisement is commissioned by the 'Kosmos' casino located in Tsaghkadzor.

It is noteworthy that this detrimental phenomenon is occurring against the backdrop of the Armenian government's fight against gambling. Recently, the executive has imposed significant restrictions on advertising gambling and the rules regarding accessing gambling services. The Prime Minister has repeatedly addressed the issue of gambling in our country and the efforts to combat it.

In 2022, licensed media outlets were banned from advertising bookmakers and gambling to ensure that underage citizens receive as little information as possible about this destructive phenomenon. The disgraceful Reel-type video circulated on social media, featuring a minor, not only breaches advertising laws but also constitutes an assault on both the state system and society.
