1 Million Dollars Allocated for Renovating a Park in Davitashen: Yerevan Council
During an event held under the slogan “No to Plunder” in the Davitashen administrative district, member of the Yerevan Council from the “Mother Armenia” faction, Armenak Danielyan, drew attention to the issues surrounding the local park.
He emphasized that the Davitashen park has not been functional for the past year, despite a decision made last year to allocate 437 million drams, or about 1 million 100 thousand dollars, for its renovation. Out of this amount, 100 million drams have already been disbursed.
The renovation work was scheduled to be completed by May of this year; however, the park remains in a deplorable condition, and there appears to be no intention to complete the work. “The allocation of such a large sum for this park is plunder,” stated Armenak Danielyan, a member of the “Mother Armenia” faction.
