VIDEO: ‘A tourist who spends 500 drams on a toilet won’t say what an expensive place it is’ – Pashinyan in Jermuk
A 1.6 km road leading to the statue of the deer is being constructed in Jermuk, and work is ongoing on an observation deck. This was reported by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on his Facebook page.
“The project costs over 232 million drams, which has been allocated by the Government. It is expected that the observation deck will contribute to the development of tourism in the community. Construction work will be completed by 2025. The surrounding rocks along the road leading to the statue of the deer, which is a symbol of Jermuk and the Arpa River gorge, have also been illuminated as part of a subsidized program. The total cost of the project is over 34 million drams, of which 20 million 690 thousand has been allocated by the Government,” he wrote and shared a video.
