The issues related to electricity outages and water management are very serious, but our approach is not guillotine-like, where we say to break off all relations with everyone. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his press conference today, August 31, at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex.

“Our task is to understand the essence of the problems and collaboratively seek solutions. The conclusion is this: not because the problems mentioned by citizens are exaggerated or superficial, but because going down that path could exacerbate the issue further. In the villages, people are uniformly complaining about the quality of electricity, stating that even agricultural machinery is burning out and breaking down,” he said.

According to Nikol Pashinyan, the issue is on the government’s agenda, but their goal is not to find culprits, but to resolve the problems. “Based on the results of regional visits, I have given instructions that efforts should be doubled and tripled in the management of water resources, sewage removal, and solid waste management. These issues are among our top priorities,” he noted.
