Fire Breaks Out Near Avshen Village: Duty Established

On September 4, at 1:34 PM, the crisis management center of the Aragatsotn regional rescue service received a call about a fire breaking out in the forest near Avshen village. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Rescue Service.

Emergency response teams from the regional rescue service, three operational groups from firefighting units, two fire engine crews, and twelve rescuers from the standby shift were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was contained at 4:57 PM and extinguished by 5:58 PM. Approximately 5,000 square meters of vegetation were burned (2,000 square meters of forest cover and 3,000 square meters of forest edge).

Duty has been established by rescuers and forestry employees.
