What Weather to Expect in the Coming Days

In the regions of the Republic of Armenia, dry weather is expected during the day on September 2 and from the 3rd to the 6th. This information is provided by the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The wind will be coming from the southeast at a speed of 2-5 m/s. In the evening of September 2-5, an increase in wind speed is anticipated in Armavir and in the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn, reaching 14-18 m/s.

The air temperature is expected to gradually rise by 2-3 degrees on September 2-3, followed by a gradual decrease of 3-5 degrees on the 5th-7th.

In Yerevan, dry weather is also expected during the day on September 2 and from the 3rd to the 7th. An increase in wind speed is forecast for the evening of September 2 and 5, reaching 14-17 m/s, and on the 3rd and 4th, speeds will be 10-13 m/s.

The authorities warn that high fire danger conditions are expected in the coming 5 days in the regions of Shirak, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor foothills, Ararat plain, and in the valleys of Syunik.
