Reforms Implemented for Digital Ticketing System in Public Transport

The Yerevan municipality informs that ahead of the start of the academic year, reforms are being implemented in the public transport system of Yerevan aimed at introducing a digital ticketing system. These reforms are designed to make the payment process for transportation fares quicker and more convenient.

In order to avoid queues and inconveniences in public transport, especially at subway stations, we urge residents to purchase their digital tickets in advance through the app or via payment terminals installed throughout the capital. QR code ticket purchases can be made either cashlessly (via the mobile app) or through a payment terminal, without the need for identification.
